ABOUT OUR HOLD BOX SERVICE
Shipping comic books can be costly so we offer a HOLD BOX service to help you economize on your shipping cost.
We will gladly group your website purchases and/or Facebook live auction purchases together and hold them until you are ready to ship.
HOW DO I SET UP A HOLD BOX?
Please select "HOLD BOX - Do Not Ship!" as your shipping option when you make a purchase on the website and a hold box will be assigned to your customer account. If you already have a hold box with us, your order will be added to it.
If you are making a purchase through our Facebook live auctions, the HOLD BOX option is automatically assigned with your invoice.
I AM READY TO SHIP MY HOLD BOX. WHAT DO I DO?
- Once you are ready to have your comics shipped out, please checkout with the "SHIP MY HOLD BOX" item in your cart. SHIP MY HOLD BOX – Very Good Comic Store
(Please ensure that this is the only item in your cart when you checkout. If there are other items in your cart, the "SHIP MY HOLD BOX" item will be cancelled.)
- This will alert us that you are ready to ship. We will then close your current hold box and prepare your items for shipping. No additional items can be added to your parcel once this option is selected.
- Within 48 hours you will receive a shipping invoice (through e-mail) based on the size and weight of the parcel as well as your location.
HOLD BOX POLICIES
- This is NOT a free shipping option. The shipping cost is being deferred to a later date when you are ready to ship.
- We will hold up to 80 items in your hold box. We will contact you to request that you ship your items if you exceed this amount.
- If your hold box is inactive for 3 months or more, we will contact you to request that you ship your items.
- One hold box per customer account. We will not combine shipping for multiple hold boxes/customer accounts.
- There are limits to the size and weight of parcels we can ship.
If your hold box contains more than the 80 item limit, it may be subject to being shipped in more than one box.
- It is your responsibility to ensure that your shipping address is correct and up-to-date when you decide to ship.
- We reserve the right to cancel/suspend your hold box.
- We reserve the right to request shipping at any time.
